Highland Hospital is proud to support the State Journal’s Who’s Who in WV Business Luncheon.
The State Journal has built several traditions throughout its 30-year history. The most prestigious of those is the annual Who’s Who in West Virginia Business award, which honors people who make a difference in West Virginia’s business climate.
The first class of winners in 1993 shined a spotlight on 10 people, telling the stories of men and women who bring strength and vitality to communities across the state through their leadership.
In the 22 years since, we have honored more than 200 entrepreneurs, educators and other professionals who come from every nook and cranny of the Mountain State.
The winners of our Who’s Who in West Virginia Business award year after year are the kind of people who make a difference in their communities and the state by giving back to their neighbors. They may take over a family business or start one from scratch, but they remain true to their beliefs and they lead by example. The name of each winner may not sound familiar to every West Virginian, but their collective works do.
This year the State Journal is honoring 14 individuals who truly are making a difference within our business community.
You are going to have to attend the luncheon on May 28, 2015 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Embassy Suites in Charleston, WV.
This year’s sponsors, Flaherty Sensabaugh Bonasso, Frontier Communications, Huntington Bank and LOC Investment Advisers, help to highlight and congratulate West Virginia’s business leaders who work every day to make a difference in the state.
This year’s sponsors understand the huge role that the members of this year’s class of honorees have played in the state during their careers and they know the entire state will benefit from their hard work for generations to come.
“We are so thankful to Flaherty Sensabaugh Bonasso, Frontier Communications, Huntington Bank and LOC Investment Advisers for committing to be this year’s sponsors for the 22nd annual Who’s Who in West Virginia Business,” said Scott Harper, sales manager for The State Journal. “All four sponsors are giving back in their own ways to the members of this year’s class who have dedicated their careers to helping the state, their communities and the businesses where they work.”
