Certified Medial Assistant (The Primary Care Center at Process Strategies) – Full-Time Day Shift
Assists practitioners with the examination and treatment of patients. High school diploma or equivalent; must be a graduate from an Accredited Medical Assistant Program; one or more years of medical assistance experience preferred; must be certified through the AAMA.
LPNs – Full-time & PRN; Various Shifts
Works under a qualified professional nurse; Participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing caret; Cooperates with the members of the nursing and medical staff and other hospital departments. Experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.
RNs – Full-time & PRN; Various Shifts
Works with a treatment team to assess and provide services to individuals with a psychiatric diagnosis; Administers medications and follows all physician’s orders in accordance with established hospital and licensing agency protocol; Provides education/explanation to patients, families, and co-workers regarding medication usage/maintenance, side effects, patients’ rights, as well as other topics necessary for optimal patient care. Experience in psychiatric nursing preferred; knowledge of and experience with psychotropic medications.
Pharmacist – PRN; Weekday Shifts (8:30a-6p or 10a-5p)
NO WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS! Provides pharmacy coverage at two retail locations in the Kanawha Valley; ensures the prompt and accurate delivery of medications to patients; Reviews, processes and checks physician orders and patient medications profiles; Provides drug information to health care professionals and patients. Current WV pharmacist license required; previous retail pharmacy experience is preferred.
Activities Therapy Aide (Highland Hospital) – PRN; Various Shifts
Conducts comprehensive recreational therapy services designed to facilitate the psychosocial rehabilitation of psychiatric patients in an acute psychiatric health care facility; maintains an awareness of patient’s needs and individual goals while motivating patients towards activities which are beneficial to them; observes patients’ interest levels and behaviors; interacts and devotes time specifically to the patients the duration of activity. High school diploma or equivalent; experience working with people in an activity, supportive, or service capacity.
Billing Specialist (Process Strategies) – Full-Time Day Shift
Reviews and determines accuracy of demographics, insurance and billing data; manages patient accounts to ensure that appropriate payer sources are billed timely and accurately; monitors A/R balances; follows up on any outstanding account balances and resolves any issues immediately; ensures that certified coding specialists have audited patient billing record against clinical record before billing, and maintains supporting documentation of audit. High school diploma or equivalent; experience in medical/psychiatric billing and A/R follow-up required; CPT, ICD-9, and HCPCS coding experience preferred; typing skills of 40 wpm.
Case Manager (Highland Hospital) – PRN; Weekend Day Shift
Provides social work assistance to patients and their families; collaborates with medical and Hospital staff in diagnosis and treatment plan; investigates case situations and presents information to medical staff and other members of health team, on patient’s family and social background pertinent to diagnosis and treatment. Bachelors of Arts in social work, psychology, or counseling; experience working with children, adolescents and adults experiencing psychiatric and/or behavioral problems preferred; knowledge of and experience with psychotropic medication preferred.
