Advance Healthcare @UC, the unique healthcare program offering primary care, behavioral health treatment and pharmacy services, is launching their 2nd season of the health education workshop series called First-Class Health Education: 101.
Advance Healthcare @UC is an exciting partnership between Highland Behavioral Health Services, Inc, (Process Strategies) and the University of Charleston that opened in September 2014.
First-Class Health Education: 101, is a six (6) workshop series designed to educate and inform the general public about certain health topics and diseases. The series is FREE to the public and will take place on the campus of UC, in the School of Pharmacy Building at 2300 MacCorkle Avenue in Charleston, WV.
The first workshop in the series of six is scheduled for Monday, January 11, 2016 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the School of Pharmacy building in room 105.
The topic will be: New Year. New You. New Attitude.
The presenter is: Jim Strawn
Mr. Strawn is the Director of Marketing for Highland Hospital and well-known for his inspiring style.
He will discuss why a positive approach to life is a healthy way to live and encourage attendees to exercise their 12 Attitudinal Muscles.
