Highland Hospital is proud once again to support the March for Babies event scheduled for Saturday, April 30, 2016 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the WV State Capitol Complex.
The walk benefits March of Dimes of West Virginia.
Prematurity is the #1 killer of babies in the United States. The March of Dimes is working to change that and help more moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. From polio to prematurity the March of Dimes has focused on researching the problems that threaten our children and finding ways to prevent them.
March of Dimes staff and volunteers are working in every state to play a vital role in improving maternal and child health in their communities. Find out the impact they are having on families and health professionals throughout the country.
They are getting ready to walk in March for Babies! It promises to be a fun day out with people who share our passion for improving the health of babies. There’ll be family teams, company teams and people walking with friends – it’s a great feeling knowing we’re all helping real families. Join our event and walk with us to raise money for babies right here in our community!
