People seek mental health assistance for a variety of reasons; for themselves or their families; for home or work relationship issues; for feeling uncomfortable or on edge; for personal tragedy, long-lasting discouragement, or depression; for child or teen behavior or discipline issues, and many other reasons.
Often, behavioral and emotional concerns can cast a shadow on everyday life, creating additional problems that may, in time, get worse without help. The Center for Disease Control says that 90% of physical ailments can be rooted back to a mental or emotional health issue. Mental wellness certainly leads to overall physical well-being.
Mental health problems affect one in every five West Virginians at any given time. Process Strategies lifts people up and gets them back on the road to mental wellness.
