Life Trauma Recovery
One in nine Americans will suffer from Life Trauma. There are many ways this emotional damage can occur and cause mental pain: stress, divorce, grief, incest, rape, sexual abuse, verbal abuse, alcoholism, co-dependency, physical abuse, loss of job, physical illness, plus many others. Professional, knowledgeable and understanding physicians, therapists, nurses and counselors at Highland help get your life back on track after a setback.
Radiology
Highland's Radiology Department provides diagnostic services for X-rays, EKGs and EEGs. These procedures are performed in a confidential and professional manner by a Registered Radiology Technologist. This department also employs trained and caring support staff. Outpatient services are on a scheduled basis.
Community
The staff at Highland understands psychiatric diagnoses, which is why our devoted Community Education Department makes presentations to any group. The unknowing of what a family member is going through or the turmoil a loved one is experiencing, can be frightening. The uncertainty is what makes the experience so fearful. Psychiatric illness is just that - an illness, that is treatable. We want family members, employers, colleagues, judges, attorneys, and elected officials to have knowledge of disorders treatments available and how to access it.
